    John Davidson certainly had the good luck to be signed with Columbia Records so young and early in his career, but I guess the bad timing to have it in the mid 60's when the music and popular culture were changing so rapidly, like, almost overnight, and a "legit" male singer, female too (even Streisand was scrambling to find a rock hit as she released an early attempt on "Our corner of the 5/5(1).
